You know the classic music question: "If you were trapped on a desert island, what 5 albums would you take with you?". Well...this week(June7-June11), I'm going to be posting my "5 Desert Island Albums"(one a day)....starting with this one.
This album has a lot of history. I consider this to be Bruce's punk album, as he had some pent up writing and attitude due to the lawsuit between him and his manager regarding writing credits. The judge had put a ban on all future recording until the suit was settled. Finally in the summer of '77 Bruce and the E Street Band were aloud to record again. Not wasting any time, they immediately settled in and recorded this masterpiece.
