#4. Definitely the most punishing and focused UNSANE record! This was the record where their songwriting started to become less spastic, and more groove orientated. Production? Flawless! This was UNSANE's first solid record with new drummer Vinny Signorelli (who replaced Charlie Ondras who died from a heroin overdose), and bass player Dave Curran. These guys are the pioneers of the Noise Rock genres. If you've been told to listen to UNSANE, but unsure what album to get...this is the one!

i met Charlie twice back in 91-92.
ReplyDeleteWe saw them open for L7 in Toronto and then follwed them to London to see them play with BrontoCrushRock.
Then i moved back to Winnipeg to find them touring with the Jesus Lizard (or was it the dwarves...)
they're actually playin this album front to back at the AMREP bash. sick.
